Somebody Like You, the moniker of artist and producer, Jack Steinman, was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. When he first picked up the guitar at the age of 7, Jack knew he had found what he loved most in life. His teacher, Don Peris, inspired him to write his own songs and gave the assurance that those songs were worth recording. After that, there was no turning back. Jack has played in various bands since he was 15, always seeking out the heaviest sound. When weekly practices suddenly became impossible, Jack started writing songs for himself. These songs were more like the first ones he ever started writing; they were calm and introspective. Somebody Like You's compositions are moments of looking inward, reflecting on hardships, processing loss, and learning how to live with and love yourself just how you are.
