Announcing Tommy Tangie as the 2026-2027 Artist in Residence

Trumpet player, DJ and recording artist Tommy Tangie (Tom Levecchia) brings more than 25 years of experience to his dynamic performances, blending creative DJ mixes with vibrant, improvised trumpet solos and an island-inspired sound.

A Jersey native and graduate of the University of the Arts, Tangie has performed across the U.S. and Europe, including major festivals, nightlife venues and private events. His work spans house, dance, lounge, hip-hop and electronic music, creating a truly unique hybrid experience.

Tommy Tangie will be performing a launch concert for his residency on Tuesday, October 13th at 5pm in the Mint Building Library Learning Commons.  Attendance is free.  All are welcome!
